Please be aware of the county policy regarding two-hour delays on days with pre-planned three hour early dismissals. Below is a script from Jillian Lader that should have gone out via robocall last night (January 16th:
Good evening. This is Jillian Lader, Manager of Communications for Harford County Public Schools calling with an important reminder for all of our parents and guardians. This Friday, all of our schools will dismiss three hours early to allow for teacher planning time and professional development activities. Please expect your child to be home three hours earlier than normal this Friday. As we continue to keep an eye on any potential weather, we want to remind you that if there is a two-hour delay on a scheduled early dismissal, students will NOT be dismissed early but remain in school for the regular school day. Again, all schools will dismiss three hours early this Friday. PreK and early intervention programs will follow the modified dismissal schedule. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
